About the Movement
The Hityashvut Chareidit movement was founded to transform the housing reality for the Chareidi tzibbur, which has unfortunately been distant from partaking in the great mitzvah of settling the Land of Israel through the establishment of new yishuvim.
Uniting All Segments of the Tzibbur
We reach out to every camp within the Chareidi world — Litvish, Chasidish, and Sefardish — from those who strictly follow the Chazon Ish, to those who do not utilize state funds, to families who feel they don't fit into standard existing communities. Every single Chareidi has a right and a chiyuv to take part in this movement.
We accomplish this by showcasing current success stories, engaging with young couples in dire need of affordable housing, and consulting with Roshei Yeshiva, Poskim, and Gedolei HaTorah to convey the urgency of our mission. By bringing the words "Yishuvim" and "Chareidim" into the same conversation, we are turning what was once unimaginable into a realistic, widely discussed option.
Pioneering and Partnering for New Locations
We actively seek out locations suitable for new Chareidi yishuvim. To achieve this, we create and maintain essential relationships with key figures outside the Chareidi community who have long-standing experience in building up the land. This includes influential individuals, organizations, development companies, and government officials at all levels.
Building these strong bridges is vital to ensuring our long-term success.
Cultivating and Equipping Garinim (Founding Pioneer Groups)
We form and support groups of families (garinim) who unite to pioneer these new yishuvim. Whether they are individuals who approached us independently or families inspired by our vision, we build a supportive network to maximize their success.
Using our connections, resources, and strategic know-how, we give the next generation of Chareidim the tools they need to establish a strong footing in their new homes.
Inspiring Global Chareidi Responsibility
We aim to bring the entire Chareidi world together for this holy cause. We are not just looking for the Nachshonim (the brave pioneers) who will physically build the next yishuv, but we want the entire tzibbur to take part.
By building a broad community of Chareidim who understand our collective responsibility to the next generation and our chiyuv to Hashem, we ensure that every corner of Eretz Yisroel is zoche to hear the sweet kol torah echoing through its hills.
