From the very first day that R' Shmuel Sackett, Chairman of the Am Yisrael Chai Foundation, heard about the new Chareidi Yishuv of Mitzpeh Leah, it was clear that their support would be built on a rock-solid foundation, prioritizing the unique needs of our Chareidi Kehilla. Right from his initial visit—and without even being asked—Am Yisrael Chai stepped forward to provide vital support. They have beautifully transformed the Yishuv by planting fruit trees, answered the critical needs of the Kollel by financing a much-needed solar energy system so that the voice of Torah can be heard day and night regardless of the weather, and ensured that the Torah is studied in a fitting, beautiful sanctuary by financing the interior completion and expansion of our Beit Midrash.

It has become abundantly clear that Am Yisrael Chai is much more than a partner to Mitzpeh Leah; they have become the leading supporter and engine behind creating new Chareidi Yishuvim throughout Yehuda and Shomron. With Hashem's help, this vision will soon spread to the North and South of Eretz Yisrael—regions that have long suffered from a lack of Jewish presence. Am Yisrael Chai has taken an enormous leap by teaming up with Hityashvut Chareidit to ensure this dream expands far beyond the hundreds currently involved, growing into a movement of tens of thousands. Our families will no longer have to suffer from the ongoing housing crisis, allowing young couples to finally realize their dream of owning a home on the holy soil of Eretz Yisrael—a home that simultaneously reclaims lands that have waited thousands of years to finally hear the sweet voices of tinokot shel beit raban (schoolchildren).
