Mitzpeh Leah (also spelled Mitzpe Leah) is a new Chareidi yishuv in the Binyamin hills, about twenty minutes from Jerusalem, founded as part of the Hityashvut Chareidit movement. Chareidi families already live and learn Torah there, overlooking the landscapes of Eretz Yisroel, in a community built from the ground up around its beit midrash and kollel.
The yishuv has been widely covered in the Chareidi press, which called it "the first Chareidi outpost in Israel" — proof that families seeking a Torah life outside the crowded city can build a home of their own in a new Chareidi yishuv.

The Am Yisrael Chai Foundation — fruit trees, solar power, and the beit midrash expansion
Hundreds came to celebrate the first Hachnasat Sefer Torah and the inauguration of the new shul at Mitzpeh Leah. Rabbanim spoke words of blessing and inspiration at the ceremony, among them Rav Yisroel Shachter, Rav Yosef Berger (Mishkoltz-Emanuel), Rav Efraim Zilberman and Rav Arye Sofer, and representatives of Chareidi yishuvim from across the country brought warm blessings to the new yishuv's residents.

The Am Yisrael Chai Foundation, led by R' Shmuel Sackett, stepped forward for Mitzpeh Leah from its very first visit: planting fruit trees in the yishuv, financing a solar energy system so the kollel's Torah can be heard in all conditions, and funding the interior completion and expansion of the beit midrash.
